STEM Day: March 16 - Hot Chocolate Machine
Students needed to use the Engineering Design Process to design, and then create a hot chocolate machine. They were only allowed to use paper cups and masking tape to create the machine. Gravity was the force used to mix hot water, cocoa mix, and dried milk through holes in the cups to create a cup of hot chocolate.

Each student had a turkey that is trying NOT to be eaten at Thanksgiving. Every student got to disguise their own turkey.

Baltimore Aquarium Field Trip- October 14, 2015
The 4th grade had an awesome day exploring the Baltimore Aquarium.
Columbus Day- Open House
It was so much fun having parents come in for Open House. Parents did a great job helping their child create maps of Maryland displaying human-made and physical features of the state.
Me Museum Presentations
Making Ecosystems in Science
Our first unit in Science is focusing on Ecosystems. Students created their terrariums on Friday September 11. We will be getting crickets and potato bugs to occupy them next week. Thank you parents for all of your help!
